System Requirements for PC and Apple Mac

Letter-join is designed and tested to play on web browsers
with Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader installed

Letter-join is an on-line, browser-based application
Letter-join is designed to run instantly and simply on your internet browser. There are two Adobe applications that must be installed on your computer: Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader. Both are mainstream Adobe applications commonly found on PCs and Apple Macs.

Letter-join is not guaranteed to run on browsers not listed.
All browsers must have the Adobe Flash Player plug-in installed.

Apple iPads

Letter-join is optimised for running on desktop PCs and Macs and is unable to run the animated pages on iPads using the Safari browser. Letter-join will display correctly if viewed using Rover, a popular education app which runs websites containing Flash files.
You can download Rover for free from the App Store >

At the time of writing Rover will not print directly from an iPad.

A bespoke version of Letter-join for the iPad is being developed.

Adobe Flash Player
You will need Adobe Flash Player installed on your computer for your browser to display the animations.
Please check to see if the sample pages display correctly on your computer.
If they do, Letter-join will display on your computer.
If Adobe Flash Player is not installed on your computer you can download it from Adobe's web site (see link to right).

Practice sheets
The practice print-out sheets are PDF files. Please check to see if you can print out a practice sheet.
If you cannot, you will need to install Adobe Reader onto your computer from Adobe's web site (see link to right).

Internet Connection
Letter-join is an on-line service and requires a reliable internet connection to run. Letter-join will display at the same speed and quality as the sample pages so please try them to see that you are satisfied with the page delivery.
